Safety valve training

4 June 2018

On 28 ? 29 November, it is time again for our popular safety valve training.

Course content

An important part of a safe installation is functioning safety valves. To achieve and guarantee this, knowledge of safety valves is required, with regard to use, function and installation. The course provides a good insight into how safety valves work and the importance of maintenance and installations of safety valves being carried out correctly. The course is organised in cooperation with VIMAB and at their premises. There is access to well-equipped workshops where the theory covered can be immediately applied and exemplified in a good way. The course documentation contains a comprehensive general theory section on safety valves and their installation and methods for calculating capacity and pressure drop.

The course provides increased knowledge of safety valves in terms of use, function and installation in order to guarantee a safe installation. After the course, the participant should be able to remove and renovate a safety valve correctly so that its function remains after the renovation.

The course is aimed at people who, in their work, carry out maintenance work on, newly install or dimension safety valves.
